"Be careful what you wish for" takes on a very real meaning when an 11-year-old Toe Thompson gets hit on the head by a mysterious, rainbow-colored rock falls from the sky. Sooner he discovers that the rock will grant his wishes and to anyone who holds it, but this apparent dream come true results in chaos. Kids and adults alike will do almost anything to get their hands on the stone, but some of the wishes themselves have rather unexpected results. Toe and his newfound friends must join forces to find a way to return the town to its senses before everything falls apart and along the way they discover that what you wish is not always what you want.
